Kenilworth
Press was founded about thirty years ago and is now one of the world’s major
equestrian publishers. The company publishes the official British Horse Society
publications including the best selling Training
Manuals, Complete Manual of Stable Management,
Veterinary Manual and Manual of
Equitation. They also publish the English language editions of the official
German National Equestrian Federation titles.
Kenilworth is well-known for the popular series
of Threshold Picture Guides which cover fifty-five topics and are
retailed extensively through the general trade plus tack shops, riding schools
and other non-book trade outlets. Truly international in their appeal, they
have been translated into Dutch, French, Norwegian, Danish, Italian, German, Spanish,
Hungarian, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic.
The
Kenilworth list has developed over the years
and has books for riders of all ages and in all disciplines including dressage;
eventing; driving; cross-country; endurance; hunting; show jumping; showing;
care – alternative, health and management; polo and young riders. The list also
has titles covering specialist topics such as the foot, respiratory problems
etc. Many well-known figures feature amongst Kenilworth’s
authors include Carl Hester, Jennie Loriston-Clarke, Jane Holderness-Roddam,
Alois Podhajsky, Jane Wallace, Kyra Kyrklund, Blyth Tait and Sallie Walrond.
