Last November my horse and I attended Gary Douglas’ Conscious Horse Conscious Rider Workshop.  The workshop was filled with fun and laughter from beginning to end.  After the weekend I was willing to expect and receive much more from my equine companion.  As a result my old horse and I parted company and a new horse came into my life who is everything I was looking for in a horse and much more.  She is very responsive to me and takes great care of me especially when I am riding.  As soon as I got my new horse I started to use the techniques from the Workshop and DVD which are so easy to use to build and deepen our relationship.  My horse is now so attuned to me that when I am out riding with my friends the others can gallop off and my horse and I will follow at whatever pace is comfortable for me that day.  Conversely when I am riding I can feel when my horse really really wants to canter and off we go.  Thanks to the Conscious Horse Conscious Rider workshop and DVD I have a horse in my life who is exactly right for where I am in my life right now.  As Gary Douglas says “How does it get any better than that?”
