Horsebooks.com.au is owned by DLS Australia, a family-owned book distributor and library supplier, based and operated in Melbourne since 1985. DLS is the Australian distributor for J.A. Allen (UK), one of the most respected horse book publishers in the world!
DLS and Horsebooks.com.au is run by Stephen Walters, whose love of horses and all things equine began with his daughter Sarah, and her years of involvement with horses and equestrian sport. Sarah also helps out with this website.
We began Horsebooks because we wanted to give people seriously interested in horses - riders, trainers, breeders, equine vets - access to quality equine books. It seems that most bookshops and saddleries carry a limited range of equestrian books, particularly high end titles like those published by J.A. Allen.
We'll be adding new publishers of quality horse books on a regular basis, as well as new titles every month. Don't forget to check back regularly to receive our special offers!
